Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement large-scale systems and services
• Mentor team members
• Comfortable representing the team, and presenting to management
• Translate business requirements to technical concepts
• Breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
• Develop technical documentation for internal use
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle – architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews
• Constantly improve skills and knowledge through self-learning and share with the team to help achieve overall goals

Essential Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Yii1 or any similar modern PHP framework
• Experience with testing environments
• Ability to lead technical architecture discussions and help drive decisions
• Extensive experience developing enterprise-level applications
• Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience working within an Agile environment using SCRUM
• Knowledge of MVC
• Excellent Teamwork ethic with the ability to work collaboratively with others (technical and non-technical)
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to align to changing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Desirable but not essential:

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Microservices
• Experience with AWS
• Knowledge of “Apple Store”, and “Google Store”
• Knowledge of Swift
